Denis Song is a Senior Consultant of TRANSEARCH Brasil, in the Interior Division of the State of São Paulo, with headquarters in Campinas.

He is an Operations specialist, having held positions such as Director of Operations, Director of Global Project, Director of Product Development and Technology over the past 25 years at companies that are global leaders in their segments.

A graduate in Mechanical Engineering, with an International Executive MBA degree, both taken at the University of São Paulo - USP, Denis has obtained ample knowledge of concepts, tools and processes, among which we point out: BSC, Six Sigma, TQM, FMEA, FTA, CEP, Lean Manufacturing, DFM, Kanban, Kaizen, JIP, JIT, TPM, etc.

His professional experience includes jobs at Otis Elevadores, Du Pont and Siemens.

He led, with absolute success, at these companies, multidisciplinary and multinational teams, with focus on achieving the expected results and the full satisfaction of the customer.

He exercised the functions of industrial manager and supervised business units that involved Operations, Projects, Technology, Quality Finance and other activities that resulted in his receiving several awards, among which we point out “Global T95 Benchmark Plant” recognized as the best industrial site of Dupont.

During his stint at Otis, and under his responsibility, the company was granted the “Center of Global Technological Excellence.” While at Otis as well, he filed patents in the United States and in 1997 received the “Entrepreneurial Performance Award.” At the same company, for the success achieved in technology transfer, he was granted the award “Case Study” by Hartford University.

He was a member of the Global Strategy, Management, and of Product Development and Technology Committees. He is experienced in strategic planning and the exchange of Best Practices in Operations Management, Development of Products and Technology, Manufacturing and Quality.

Owing to his dedication to community activities, he was granted the “Chairman’s Award” by Harnishfeger Corp. - Beloit Corp.

Denis is fluent in English, Portuguese and Korean, having good knowledge of Spanish and a working knowledge of German.
