Eduardo Neves Penteado Moraes is an Associated Senior Consultant at TRANSEARCH Brasil.

Graduated in Business Administration by FGV in São Paulo and a Civil Engineer by the Mackenzie University, he has also coursed an MBA at FGV/SP.

Eduardo has international living experience, having presided multinational companies in Latin America, North America and Europe. He has 15 years worth of experience at the helm of large size industrial companies, working at the automotive, chemical & petrochemical, health/hospitals, and business to business in general.

Starting at the early 80’s in Brasil, in SKF, B. Braun and Microlite, Eduardo assumed his first CEO role in 1990 at John Crane Brasil, a TI Group plc company. In the following 10 years he assumed responsibility for progressively larger businesses of TI, such as John Crane South America, Bundy Latin America (based in USA), and TI Polymers Europe (based in the UK). Back to Brazil at the end of the decade he started his own consultancy business serving customers in the pharmaceutical, financial and services sectors, until accepting an invitation to work as CEO of Rieter Automotive South America, where he remained for some five more years, tripling that company’s size within that period.

He held positions as Director in the Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade depts. of CIESP (São Paulo’s Industries Confederation) for two consecutive terms, from 2004 to 2007 and also as a Member of the Counsel at the High Counsel of Sindipeças (Auto parts suppliers association), from 2005 to 2010.

He is fluent in English, native in Portuguese and with good skills in Spanish.
