Hans Roberto Frenster has been an Associate Consultant at TRANSEARCH Brasil since July 2011.

A Business Administration graduate from the Catholic University of São Paulo, with an Industrial Administration degree from the General Motors Institute, at Flint, MI, Frenster has taken courses in Finance and Management at Insead, in Lausanne, Switzerland, at Stanford, Palo Alto, CA, and at the NYU, in New York, among others.

He began his professional career in the HR area at General Motors do Brasil and, subsequently, was designated Human Resources director at ABB Brasil. He then went on to head companies operating in both Brazil and on the international market. He was President/CEO of Votorantim Internacional in Brasil and of its subsidiaries in Holland, Italy, the United States, Singapore and Curaçao; he was President/CEO of Samica/ABB Brasil; in the United States he was President/CEO of Von Roll Isola Americas and Asia, and board member - Switzerland. After his return from the United States, he took part in the development of business at sugar and alcohol mills, at other agribusiness, oil and gas, energy and energy efficiency companies.

He has participated actively in proceedings concerning the acquisition, merger, selling and implementation of companies in Brazil and on the international market.

His performance in medium-sized and large family companies and international corporations, with both local and international presence, in the automotive, electrical and electronic, energy, industrial equipment, pulp and paper, chemical, metals, agribusiness, materials and other industries enables him to provide services to national and international companies, understanding their culture and business, and taking part in their implementation, management and expansion, assembly of executive teams, as well as their evaluation, advising and development.

Frenster was a board member of Union College, Schenectady, NY, during his stint in the United States, and he was also active in trade associations and at the Federation of Industries of the State of São Paulo (FIESP).

He deals with his customers in the English, German, and Spanish languages besides his native Portuguese.
